There are more pictures to come from the engagement, as well as the planning of the wedding!! I have already booked the temple, bought my dress, booked the reception, booked the photographer and videographer! I can't wait!!! :)
Sean had to leave Sunday :( but there was still more planned with the cheerleaders for the rest of the week. We got to go to the beach on Monday, and shopping Tuesday. It was a fun vacation and DEFINATELY one I will NEVER forget!!! I Love Sean sooooooooooo much and can't wait to start our life together! :)
Competition was so much fun and the girls did really well! Unfortunately they didn't place :( But I am so proud of their hard work, and had a lot of fun with them in preparation for nationals!
Saturday was competition day for me, so Sean headed to the beach with his family before heading to the performance.
What a great way to start off my week in California. After we took several pictures and talked about starting on plans, we headed out for the day. Sean and I first went to The Alley in Los Angeles with his family where we bought a lot of fun stuff for cheap! Later we celebrated the engagement at Chili's for dinner (Thanks Vicki)! To finish off the perfect engagement day we went to Disneyland with my family! We went on a few rides, and watched the firework show. It was a PERFECT day!
I walked in the back bedroom at the hotel to grab water bottles while Rachel changed her shoes. And there, as I walked in was Sean!! I was first surprised and confused that he was there, almost missing the beautiful flowers, and the pictures he had set up on the table. We talked for a little bit and then he brought me over to a little table and showed me all the pictures he had set up. Layed out on the table were pictures taken throughout the past year we have been dating. Also, on the table was a large picture frame, on top was engraved "Now You're My Whole Life" (from our song "Then" by Brad Paisley), and on the bottom was engraved March 26, 2010. As I was admiring the beautiful picture frame, Sean had got down on his knee. I turned to him and of course started crying. He then presented me with a BEAUTIFUL ring and asked me to marry him!!!! I nodded yes while bawling :) We continued to talk for a little bit and then called in our families. Sean's family had been hiding in a stairwell :) And my family came back upstairs from the lobby. We took pictures and began letting the other family members know!
Through some secretive planning (for weeks!!), Sean had a surprise planned for when I got back to the hotel. My mom had arranged for me to meet them down in the lobby so we could all head to Disneyland together. To get me upstairs Rachel was wearing flip flops and my mom told me to go up with her to grab shoes. As we were walking up my mom yelled for me to grab a couple more water bottles also. I headed up to the best surprise of my life!!
Early Friday morning I had to meet with the Cheerleaders to go to practice. I had let Sean know this before I left, meanwhile he had been planning a secret surprise for when I got back from practice. :) As we were walking back to the hotel from practice, I sent a text to Sean and let him know we were coming back. I, of course thought he was at work and asked him to call when he got a chance.
The Cheerleaders and I arrived in California, Thursday night. Everone was to head to bed early to prepare for a practice early the next morning. Little did I know, at the same time I was getting ready for bed, Sean Vicki, Kristin and Bridger were driving as fast as they could to get to California!
My trip to California turned out to be more than I could have ever imagined!! Cute Sean made the trip one I would never forget!!
